Porto Christmas Market
"If you want a more magical Christmas, look for unique and original gifts, while supporting small producers, artisans and merchants. In Porto's Christmas Market, amidst lights, music and decorated trees, exhibitors in wooden houses will present proposals national and allusive to the court, such as toys, books, decorative items, clothing and gastronomy. The market will be open every day in Praça da Batalha, from November 27th to December 31st, from 10 am to 8 pm. free."

Urban Market • XMAS Edition
"Mesh Up Events, launches the special double dose of Christmas edition - URBAN MARKET • XMAS EDITION - on the 4th and 5th at Hard Club and on the 17th to the 23rd in the emblematic building of the Ateneu Comercial do Porto, from the 17th to the 23rd of December from 11am to 8:30pm.
In a month when Christmas, family, love and magic are celebrated, the Urban Market • Xmas Edition special edition, associates to a cause and supports the MEERU | Make way.
MEERU | Open Path is an NGDO that emerged, in 2019, from the strong connection of its team to the reception of refugees and migrants in Portugal and Greece. Its mission is to develop and strengthen communities through dialogue and proximity. The MEERU APROXIMA project was born from the will to act in this context, in Portugal, with the aim of promoting the feeling of belonging, as well as bonds of friendship and trusting relationships between migrant and refugee families and local people. Through the mobilization, training and monitoring of teams of local volunteers - Proximity Teams - the project promotes close and structured monitoring of these families during an 8-month program.
Currently, together with 51 volunteers, MEERU is accompanying 13 families from Iraq, Syria, India, Bangladesh and Cameroon in Braga, Viana do Castelo, Trofa, Maia, Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Gondomar and São João da Madeira.
For 7 days, from 11 am to 8:30 pm, the noble salon of the Ateneu Comercial do Porto will enter the Christmas spirit.
Together with Agrafo Studio, we are going to recreate a Christmas atmosphere.
On December 18th at 5 pm, be enchanted by the voice of Lidia Almeida accompanied by the chords of André Marques on guitar.
The Urban Market has free entry and has a selection of 40 designer and limited edition brands, 100% Portuguese brands, in the areas of jewelry, interior design, illustration, painting, fashion design, welfare and children , without forgetting the gastronomy with personalized baskets.
The Urban Market has the institutional support of the Porto City Council."
